What is Massage Therapy?

Massage therapy consists of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints to relieve pain, rehabilitate and improve physical function.  Massage therapy has a therapeutic effect on the body.   It has been a proven method to relieve muscle and joint pain, calm the nervous system, improve the circulatory system and promote lymphatic drainage.  Massage Therapists use their excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology to combine traditional Swedish and modern Massage Therapy techniques with exercises and other therapies to restore tissue health.  Massage therapy benefits people of all ages and can be used in the treatment for both acute and chronic stages of conditions.

What is CranioSacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle non-invasive technique which releases restrictions within the body. The therapist gently works with the spine and the skull and its cranial sutures, diaphragms and fascia to help release tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and to improve whole body health and performance. It works closely with the central nervous system to help the body to self correct and heal.

What is Fascial Advanced Manual Therapy?

This is another gentle yet powerful therapy that works on restrictions within the fascial matrix system that are limiting the body’s full potential; addressing the fibrous fascial network and the fluidity of the matrix, Fascial Advanced Manual Therapy allows the body to self-regulate, adapt and heal.
